Looks Good!

I was really hoping to make it down there this year, but it did not happen.  Maybe next year.

Got any tips about the park?

The park can get pretty crowded at times.  Plenty of room on the diamond field but the campground gets a little tight.  The campground may be getting an overhaul next year but we aren't sure.  Right after a big diamond find the place really fills up.

Here is a tip:

Stay at Daisy State Park.  It's about half an hour away, is on a beautiful lake and it's much quieter.  Just a great little park where you can relax properly after a day of digging at Crater of Diamonds.

Another idea is make Crater part of a busy vacation.  Take a visit to Historic Washington or stay at DeGray Lake Resort State Park

Enjoy your visit!
