I can't stand putting DEET products on me knowing how Deet can effect you. I'm always looking for natural products and found this great "Outdoor Body Spray" that actually Works! I live in BUG Central and I've tried "naturals" before without much success. This spray called Horse and Handler is all natural and organic with Aloe Vera and 10 essential oils. It says it is safe on children too. I found it works 2-3 hours. I purchased it while up at Crater Lake National Park. (I figured since they were selling it, it must work. Anyway on the bottle there is a website you can check it out. www.juniperworks.com

Thanks for the heads up.  Today I had just put on some 100% DEET - the skeeters gave me no problem, but I think the dreaded "Yellow Flies"  (really bad biters!) LOVE the stuff........   Sad

It's worth trying this product!

Raised in a wilderness area comprised of swamps, I have a special affectation for 'skeeters.  As a career science professional, I have a particular dislike for special-interest groups who use pseudo science to brainwash people into thinking DEET (N,N-Diethyl-meta-toluamide) poses health hazards to people.  DEET (used as directed) is one of the most thoroughly health and environmentally tested safe compounds in existence.  Spray away bro!  Grin  And give me back my DDT!  Angry

I've not tried it but was told if you put a bounty sheet in your pocket it keeps the mosquitoes away.

Been using Citronella oil and so far it has kept the mosquitoes away. I mix mine with a bit of alcohol to make it a lot easier when I spritz it.
